Skateboarding Parkour

What do you get when you mix extreme street acrobats and board shredding? One gnarly parkour-skate vid!

For viewers who may be unfamiliar, Parkour is a sport of French origin in which practitioners move as swiftly as possible – over, under, and through obstacles – from Point A to Point B.

I trust we all know what skateboarding is – now just imagine marring the two – just wicked!

Turns out these two sports have a lot more common than meets the eye. For instance, both involve intense stunts and require nerves of steel.

The video above follows Jose Angeles, a San Francisco native, demonstrating his unquestionable skill with his eccentric hybrid parkour-skate style.

In the vid, we get to see Jose grinding down kinked rails and ledges like it’s just a warm-up for him.

He doubles-down on the impressive action by incorporating some body flips. Angeles goes on to up the ante again with mind-boggling board-to-board transfers.

Viewers are likely to bear witness to tricks they probably didn’t even think were possible.
